Facility
The Tri State Gun Club is ~33 acres divided in two areas south and north of county road 437.
The north complex has a large, well equipped training facility with kitchen facilities, men’s and women’s bathrooms with showers, a commercial ice machine, BBQ grill, and a large classroom area. The main area is set up with tables and chairs supporting club meetings and special training events. Members can reserve the club house for their special events. Two RV spots with hookups are located behind the facility. The north side has a 25yd, a 50yd, a 100yd, a wide 25yd bay commonly used by law enforcement with a 100yd approach as well as a shot gun area for skeet and trap shooting. They are referred to as the rifle ranges since there are no steel targets or caliber restrictions. We also have an equipment barn with tools and machines used by the club members for range and area maintenance.
The south side has a total of nine bays referred to as the pistol caliber bays. Shot guns are not allowed on the south side. Only pistol caliber, non-magnum ammunition is permitted (with some type restrictions) due to the steel targets and the depth of the individual bays. Bay one, closest to the road, is restricted to paper targets only. Some bays have moveable steel targets and some bays have non moveable steel falling plate racks and a dueling tree. There is a large equipment barn for various prop, targets stands and steel targets that are stored to support varies shooting competitions. Two bathrooms are accessible outside the equipment barn storage area.
There are walking trails around the perimeter of the club and we encourage everyone to enjoy the entire area.
