2024-2025 Membership renewals are being accepted. Membership application

Per the by-laws, elections were held during the September 08 membership meeting. All three incumbent officers accepted nominations, and no other nominations were brought forth. All three incumbent officers were unanimously reelected, with no opposed votes noted.

I just wanted to write that I am happy to continue as the President. It was brought to my attention that being elected an officer on the board is not a job that anyone really wants. And as long as the club is taken care of, so we responsible gun owners have a safe place to shoot, nobody gives it a second thought. I just wanted all to know that the club is in good hands and that myself, and the other eight members of the board, will continue to keep a close eye on your club. It is a lot of work, and a lot goes on in the background to keep everything running smoothly.

My job is rather easy and there are many things that I will try and do better. First, my wife Clarissa has the hardest job. Keeping the books for TSGC takes many hours each month, sitting in front of the computer handling daily emails, paying the monthly bills, and returned phone calls for member questions. I help her as much as I can. Second, I cannot forget about Pat and Dan. Without them your club would not look and function the way that it does every day. They are the backbone of your club, fixing all that breaks in a timely manner. I don’t have to remind you how much 500+ members can take a toll on targets and stands. Along with keeping the grass mowed to a respectable height so you have an easy walk to check your targets. And the myriad of other daily housekeeping chores. And lastly, the unsung members that volunteer weekly and monthly to do their part to keep your shooting bays clean and trimmed, and the clubhouse tidy. Again, being your President is the easy job. I’m just the pretty face you get to look at while conducting meetings. Please, if you have any questions for me about your club feel free to call or email me. Cameron

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me by phone, text or email. Also, if you would like to sent the newsletter, please send me a short email so that I can add you the list. Sometimes it’s difficult to read handwriting on applications.

Website updates

Please be patient with me as I learn how to use and update our website. Although I have a good working knowledge of computers it’s still a bit of a learning curve working with websites. My plan is to make our website the center of club information. Thank you all for your continued patience. If there is a club member who has experience with word press and would like to help out with the website, please contact me.
